Boyle Heights Cats is a volunteer-run organization that seeks to reduce cat overpopulation through Trap-Neuter-Return-Monitoring (TNRM) and low-cost spay/neuter of community cats. We train community members of Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, El Sereno and East Los Angeles how to TNR and monitor their pet colonies as we believe that community members can lead the change to make an impact in their communities.
Fosters Needed
We encounter so many friendly kittens and adult cats when we conduct TNR. However, we are a volunteer team that cares for our own animals and depend heavily on a network of fosters who can care for the kitties temporarily. Fostering can be a short-term commitment of as little as a few weeks.
